Background:
UnionBank of the Philippines aimed to launch their foreign exchange trading platform in 2019, targeting individuals regularly engaged in trading and foreign exchange transactions. The challenge was to differentiate their platform in a crowded market filled with similar offerings.
Idea:
When you want it, you get it.
A straightforward campaign led by no-frills but intriguing visuals, designed to communicate complex trading concepts in an easily understandable way.
Execution:
To stand out, we avoided typical banking advertisements and leveraged advanced graphic design techniques to animate the terminologies familiar to our target audience, like "breakout" or "support and resistance." Drawing on my personal experience as an amateur trader, I crafted copy and designed art for each post, aiming to create a unique and engaging visual experience that brought trading concepts to life in a static format.
Results:
The approach of making the words feel dynamic, despite the artworks being static, was aimed at engaging the audience deeply and distinguishing UnionBank's foreign exchange trading platform from its competitors.
